Research shows that the average Smartphone usage per day is now 2 hours and 51 minutes. Really. This is for all people in the US 18+ measured in December 2016. This is more than double the daily use of desktop browsers at their apex. What does this mean for your website? It means that it must be mobile-friendly. Just imagine your traffic three years from now when it will most likely be 80% mobile.
How will you know? Search for your website on your smartphone right now. Is it easy to read? Is it a “responsive” website that responds to the screen size of your device? If it does not, you need to build a new website as soon as possible. Not only will Google downgrade your page rank if your site is not mobile-friendly, your visitors will most likely not complete your lead form as they won’t be able to easily use your site.
