With all of the excitement around LLMs like ChatGPT it’s important from time to time to recognize that Google is still by far and away the leader of the pack when it comes to search.

• Google sees 8.9 billion daily queries compared to ChatGPT which sees 250-500 million weekly
• Google Gemini (900M monthly users) is narrowing the AI chatbot usage gap with ChatGPT(1.2B monthly users)
• The second largest search engine in the world is Youtube, which is owned by Google
